Scania accredited by JPK

Dusun Tua, 16 June 2022 – Scania Malaysia recently was accredited as the Centre of Sistem Latihan Dual Nasional (SLDN) or National Dual Training System (NDTS), by the Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran (JPK) or Department of Skills Development, of the Ministry of Human Resources. This makes Scania Malaysia the only company in the heavy commercial vehicle industry in Malaysia to be accredited for this training programme. The event that started the training for 2022 was held at the Institut Kemahiran Tinggi Belia Negara, Dusun Tua (IKTBNDT) and was officialised by Dalila Sharingat, Director, IKTBNDT. Representing Scania was Navindran Rajendran, people and culture business partner, Scania Southeast Asia, Khairull Anuar Ismail, SLDN accredited centre manager, Scania Malaysia and Nurulain Sulaiman, SLDN coach, Scania Malaysia.

Singapore, 9 April 2022 – Scania Singapore announced that it has commenced sales for its battery electric trucks from 6 April 2022. It also announced the signing of a sales agreement today with its first customer, ALBA W&H Smart City, for 15 battery electric trucks, the first European-branded battery electric trucks in Singapore.

Scania truck with ADAS unveiled

Kuala Lumpur, 10 March 2022 – Scania unveiled sustainable partnerships of the first New Truck Generation (NTG) with Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) and the first Euro V truck in Malaysia together with other sustainable transport solutions at the Malaysia Commercial Vehicle Expo (MCVE) at the Mines International Exhibition Convention Centre. Honda targets 80,000 units sales this year
