IRDA and Scania conduct renewable fuel pilot test

Iskandar, Johor, 12 April – Scania pilot-tested renewable fuels and electrification solutions with Iskandar Regional Development Authority (IRDA) for the Iskandar Malaysia Bus Rapid Transit (IMBRT). It will be test-running two buses over the 20-kilometre loop route from 11 to 15 April. This event was officiated by YAB Datuk Ir Haji Hasni Haji Muhammad, The chief minister of Johor cum co-chairman of IRDA, YBhg Prof Datuk Ismail Ibrahim, the CEO of IRDA and Heba Eltarifi, managing director, Scania Southeast Asia.

Honda Malaysia’s new MD and CEO

Petaling Jaya, 9 April 2021 – Honda Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. welcomed its first woman managing director and chief executive officer, Ms. Madoka Chujo who succeeded Toichi Ishiyama.

Ms. Chujo officially assumed office in Malaysia on 1st April 2021. Prior to this role, she was the vice-president at Honda Canada Inc., strategizing the sales and marketing since 2019. Her career in Honda started 23 years ago in 1997 and over the years, she has held various roles in Japan, China, Spain and Canada. Her expertise and experience are in the area of sales strategy during her various stints in the countries she served.

Perodua targets 240,000 units
