Hospital Sungai Buloh receives more medical supplies

Sungai Buloh, 25 May 2021 – Perodua recently contributed an additional RM80,000 worth of medical supplies to Hospital Sungai Buloh as part of their ongoing efforts to support key public institutions nationwide. It included 5,000 face shields, wheelchairs equipped with safety belts, commode chairs, transfer boards, bed railings, rehabilitation chairs, walking frames, walking sticks and a therapy tilt table.

“The supplies provided are based on feedback given by the hospital’s administrative team to help keep their staff safe and patients comfortable,” said president and CEO, Dato’ Zainal Abidin Ahmad.

“We will continue to communicate with key public institutions to see where Perodua may contribute strategically in supporting the nation. We thank and salute our brave men and women who work tirelessly to serve us all,” he added.

The 5,000 face shields Perodua contributed were manufactured by an associate company, bringing the total number of face shields the carmaker has contributed to various organisations in Malaysia, to 35,000.

Recipients of the face shields included schools, clinics, local government offices and councils, and even market hawkers in the surrounding community.
