KLIMS’18 kicks-off the a&p campaign
Kuala Lumpur, 11 October 2018 – The Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show 2018 (KLIMS’18) organiser the Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA) launched today their advertising and promotion campaign. The event was officiated by Muhammad Bakthiar Bin Wan Chik, Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia, Datuk Aishah Ahmad, president, MAA, in the presence of sponsors and exhibitors.
“After a five-year hiatus since the previous KLIMS, the automotive industry players are ready to bring this show back with exciting exhibits and attractions for the motoring enthusiasts and the public,” said Datuk Aishah.
“The key attraction is 7 concept cars besides the latest cars and bikes,” she added.
“We have also made arrangements for shuttles from LRT and KTM stations,” replied Datuk Aishah in response to a question.
“Our tourist arrival target for 2020 is 30 million and events like KLIMS’18 are important in attracting arrivals from around the region,” said Muhammad Bakthiar.
Other attractions include vehicles developed by students from local universities, exotic cars, longest limousine in Malaysia and customised art on bikes and vehicles.
The lucky draw prizes for visitors include a Toyota C-HR, Honda City and Perodua Mivi. Tickets can be purchased at AirAsia Red Tix and there are also attractive promotions including fortnightly draws to win AiaAsia return tickets to Bangkok, Hong Kong, Taipei, Jakarta and Shanghai.
The entrance fee is RM20 for adults on weekdays and RM25 on weekends. The fee for students and children 12-years and below is RM5. There are also family packages available.
KLIM’S will be held from 23 November to 2 December at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC). The show times are from 11am to 10pm on weekdays and 10am to 10pm on weekends.
