Syed Ahmad walks away with a Peugeot 208 PureTech
Kuala Lumpur, 28 November 2017 – Malaysia Autoshow 2017 had chosen six lucky visitors among 255,000 visitors to compete in the final challenge where they were required to answer as many questions on the Show correctly within a one-minute time frame.
Syed bin Ahmad, 30, Jason Tan, 47, Cher Hang Boon, 42, Mohd Helmi bin Bakar, 28, Muhammad Nur Aizat bin Abdul Samad, 29, and Mohd Al Khafiz Zainal, 36 made it to the final. All of them had bought tickets to view 170 exhibiting brands at the four-day autoshow and participated in the Win-A-Car contest.
Syed Ahmad took home a Peugeot 208 PureTech while Cher Hang Boon won the Demak EX 90 motorcycle worth RM2,800 and the others received RM1,000 worth of fuel vouchers from BHP.
Datuk Madani Sahari, CEO, Malaysia Automotive Insitute (MAI), announced that Malaysia Autoshow is slated to be held again next year, from 12 April to 15 April 2018 with many more exciting activities for visitors.
“The success of the Malaysia Autoshow 2017 signifies the commitment of the industry and the participation of the people in the nation’s automotive sector. Next year, we aim to create a more comprehensive showcase for a larger number visitors,” said Datuk Madani.
“We also hope that the moving of Malaysia Autoshow dates from November to April will allow for a better autoshow experience, since it is scheduled in consideration of motor shows around the globe,” he added.
The Kuala Lumpur International Automotive Symposium (KLIAS 2017) was also held simultaneously, saw 32 experts including 19 international, share automotive insights on the latest updates in the automotive industry.
