Refreshed Mazda3 and new MX-5

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERASetia Alam, 27 April 2017 – Bermaz Motor introduced today, the freshened-up Mazda3 and the much awaited new MX-5 RF at  an event which also included the introduction of their new cutting-edge GVC technology designed to make driving an absolute pleasure besides the new CX-9. Present at the launch were Dato Sri Ben Yeoh, executive director, Bermaz Motor, Dato’ Amer Hamzah, executive director, Prima Merdu, guests from Mazda Motor, Japan and around the region.

GVC or G-Vectoring Control is software developed to control torque and transfer weight to the front of the vehicle for better traction. The other tangible benefits include better steering control, reduced fatigue and stable motion. This coupled with the Skyactiv technology is intended to deliver a complete, pleasurable driving experience.

‘The Mazda3 is locally assembled at our plant in Kulim and the GVC will be introduced in stages to all our models in the near future,’ said Dato Sri Yeoh.

‘All our models will now come with a 5-year warranty and 3-free maintenance in addition to our new mobile service programme which will be rolled-out soon.’ he added.

The price starts from RM113,598.79 (with insurance) for the sedan and hatchback variants. Artic White, Blue Reflex, Meteor Grey and Aluminium Metallic are the colour choices available.

The all-new 2-lite MX-5 RF has a retractable hard-top, 4.6-inch full-colour TFT gauge, 7-inch Mazda Connect touch-screen infotainment system, leather-wrapped steering wheel, LED head lights.

The colours available are Soul Red Metallic, Crystal White Pearl, and Jet Black at the price of RM248, 182.65 including insurance.
