Improved Hino bus model series

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAShah Alam, 22 December 2016 – In an exclusive preview, Hino introduced four improved bus models which will conform to the new JPJ regulations effective 2017. The areas of enhancement include safety and comfort.

“Safety is the most important issue while on the road. Putting safety first is necessary in order to avoid any unwanted road traffic accidents that could harm other road users,” said Ken Iwamoto, managing director, Hino Motor Sales (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (HMSM).

“One of the biggest effort that Hino have put ahead recently, in line with government’s concern on road safety is the investment of upgrading Hino Total Support Customer Center (HTSCC) which providing human training,” he added.

“We will be introducing the first fuel-cell powered bus in the coming new year in Japan,” said Kenjiro Inoue, manager, product planning, Hino Motors Ltd., Japan.

The four new models include the RN8JSNA catering to the tour, stage, express, factory and school bus segments while the RK8JSKA is aimed at similar segments except the express bus market. The RM1ESKU is basically a tour and express bus with the XZU720L1 being the only mini bus in the market.

All these models come with the speed limiters and fuel leakage prevention system essential, in preventing road accident fatalities.
