New Lexus showroom in Ipoh
Ipoh, 28 August 2014 – Lexus Malaysia, today officially opened the doors to its seventh outlet in Malaysia located along Jalan Kuala Kangsar, Ipoh. On hand to witness the opening ceremony were Tan Sri Asmat Kamaludin, Chairman, Datuk Takashi Hibi, Deputy Chairman, Datuk Ismet Suki, President of UMW Toyota Motor, Goh Kian Sin, Executive Chairman and Goh Kian Chuan, Managing Director, Telagamas Motors Sdn Bhd.
“We have invested close to RM90 million in expanding our network with the introduction of several outlets beginning with Lexus Mutiara Damansara, Kuala Lumpur, Sungai Besi, Penang, Johor, Kuching, Ipoh and next on our list is Malacca. Lexus Malacca is due to be launched in the final quarter of 2014,” said Datuk Ismet Suki, President, UMW Toyota Motor.
Lexus Ipoh is a double-story building that is built on a 30,000sq ft land area. It features mezzanine floor and a roof top stockyard. The building incorporates a modern contemporary design and is also staffed by the finest in hospitality and engineering. The state of the art facility will be able to display up to four of the latest Lexus models and will also operate a service centre with four service bays that are able to service and maintained on individual cars simultaneously. It is operated by 16 well-trained staff in sales and after sales under the leadership of Sukumar Visvanathan, Sales and Customer Service Operations Manager.
