World Cup activities by Naza Kia

Kuala Lumpur, 3 May 2010  - Naza Kia Sdn Bhd, the official distributor of Kia Motors vehicles in Malaysia, in collaboration with Kia Motors Corporation, the official partner for 2010 FIFA World Cup, today began its ground activities for this year’s World Cup by launching a futsal tournament and a guide book.

Named “Kia Futsal With Soul,” the tournament will kick off on May 22 in Penang and Shah Alam followed by Subang and Melaka on May 29 and May 30. The finals of the Kia Futsal with Soul tournament will be held on June 12 and 13 at the Bukit Jalil Stadium.

Riding on the excitement for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, the Kia Futsal With Soul tournament will provide an opportunity for Malaysian futsal players to showcase their talent to win attractive prizes. Among others, the champion team will receive a grand prize of RM10,000 cash.

The winning team of the Kia Futsal With Soul tournament will also get the chance to represent Malaysia in the finals of Kia Motors Corporation’s global futsal tournament in South Africa during the 2010 FIFA World Cup. The 13 countries participating – namely are South Korea, China, Malaysia, France, Italy, Germany, England, Netherlands, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Jordan and Syria.

The Kia Futsal With Soul tournament will be open to the public and participants may register their teams online at www.kiafutsalwithsoul.com from May 10th. Interested participants can also find important information on the futsal tournament at this website.

In conjunction the Kia Futsal With Soul tournament, Naza Kia, in partnership with the New Straits Times and Berita Harian, also launched today the 2010 FIFA World Cup Guide Book.

This guide book contains information on all 32 teams participating in this year’s World Cup as well as match fixtures, player information and historical facts. Additionally, those who purchase the guide book will be eligible to enter a contest to win a trip to South Africa to watch the World Cup finals.
