Kuala Lumpur, 27 April 2010 - Ampang branch to kick off expansion exercise; first Peugeot Rapide in Malaysia.

Nasim Sdn Bhd, the official distributor of the Peugeot marquee in Malaysia, has launched a new 3S centre in Ampang as part of a network expansion plan that will see the opening of more branches and the reduction of spare part prices.

The newly launched 3S centre in Ampang will increase Nasim’s network of 3S centres in the country to five. Nasim’s other 3S centres are in Glenmarie, Johor Bahru, Penang and Kuching.  

As part of Nasim’s network expansion plan, two more branches will be opened in Ipoh and Puchong in the coming weeks. The branch in Puchong will be a 1S centre while the branch in Ipoh will have 3S capabilities.

Once both the Ipoh and Puchong branches are launched, Nasim’s network in the country will total 20 outlets comprising 13 branches and seven dealers.

As for Nasim’s after-sales push, the company recently reduced its spare part pricing by 20% to make the experience of owning a Peugeot even more affordable.

Furthermore, Nasim currently has a well stocked inventory worth RM5.7 million to ensure availability of spare parts for its customers. The spare parts are for all current Peugeot models being sold by Nasim as well as older models such as the 406, 307 and 206.

As for the new 3S centre in Ampang, it holds the distinction of being the first branch in Malaysia to offer Peugeot Rapide, which can perform quick servicing needs such as an oil change and diagnostic check within an hour.

Peugeot Rapide is a service offered by Peugeot and its distributors in selected markets globally as a means of reducing a customer’s waiting time when sending in their car for a routine maintenance service such as an oil change.   

The Peugeot Rapide centre at the Ampang branch has four bays that allow up to four cars to be serviced at any one time. Furthermore, customers can wait for their cars to be serviced at a dedicated customer lounge in the branch.
