Balakong, 29 January 2010 - Wing Hin Automobile Sdn Bhd (Wing Hin Automobile) an appointed dealer of UMW Toyota Motor Sdn Bhd announced today that it has upgraded its 3S centre and include Body and Paint facility.

The ceremony was officiated by Yang Berbahagia Tan Sri Asmat Kamaludin, Chairman of UMW Toyota Motor and Loh Tuck Sum, Chairman of Wing Hin Automobile Sdn Bhd. Also present were Dato’ Abdul Halim Harun, President and CEO of UMW Holdings Sdn. Bhd., Kuah Kock Heng, President of UMW Toyota Motor, and William Loh, Director of Wing Hin Automobile Sdn Bhd.

The opening of the new facility by Wing Hin Automobile was part of its continuous efforts to provide excellent services to its customers especially in Cheras Selatan, Balakong, Seri Kembangan and Serdang areas. The moves also compliment the efforts by UMW Toyota Motor to upgrade its sales and after-sales facilities including dealers’ outlet.

Speaking at the function, William Loh, Director of Wing Hin Automobile said, "We have been enjoying steady growth in our new vehicle sales, achieving a record of 1253 units per annum in year 2008." He added that, "With this increasing trend in vehicle sales, there was also a corresponding increased demand for after-sales including body & paint repairs."

William said that the decision to build the new facility was first imitated in 2006 with an objective to ensure that customers’ demands are not compromised and at the same time maintaining customers’ satisfaction.

Including the Body and Paint centre, Wing Hin Automobile has invested RM39 million to upgrade its after-sales facility. This substantial investment is a clear testimony of the commitment of Wing Hin Automobile towards Toyota customers.

The 168,400 square feet facility is located at Lot 963, Jalan Balakong, 43300 Balakong in Selangor. The service facility can cater for more than 100 vehicles per day with a maximum of 49 service bays while the new B&P centre, which has the capacity of 71 bays, can repair more than 170 vehicles per month.

With a total of 92 people with various trade skills from the workforce, the new full fledge 3S Wing Hin outlet is ready to serve the customers and provide the excellent service that Toyota has been known for.
