Rawang, 26 January 2010 – Perodua Myvi was ranked highest in the compact car segment of the 2009 Malaysia Initial Quality Study conducted by J. D. Power Asia Pacific. This was the third year in a row the Myvi was ranked the best.

"For the customers, fuel efficiency was the main reason for the purchase of the Myvi in addition to the attractive design and roominess of the interior," said Taku Kimoto, General Manager, J. D. Power Asia Pacific at the prize presentation ceremony held recently.

The Myvi is the best selling car since July 2006 and in 2009, 91,000 units were sold to make it the best selling car.

Also present at the ceremony were Osamu Oaki, Managing Director, Perodua Auto Corporation Sdn Bhd and Aminar Rashid Salleh, Managing Director, Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua Sdn Bhd.

"This is a very proud day for us as the Perodua brand has earned the trust of the Malaysian public yet again. On behalf of Perodua, I would like to thank all Malaysian for choosing Myvi as the car of their choice," said Aminar.
