Naza Kia adds two more Platinum dealers

Kuala Lumpur, 1st September 2009 – Naza Kia Sdn Bhd, the franchise holder for the Kia marque in Malaysia, today announced that two more of its Kia dealers have been awarded Kia Motors Corporation’s ‘Platinum Dealer’ award. FS Trading Sdn Bhd of Ampang, Selangor, and Raza Motors Sdn Bhd of Batu Caves, Selangor, are the latest two Kia dealers to receive the distinction, bringing the total number of Platinum Dealers in Malaysia to six. The ‘Platinum Dealer’ title is valid for up to two years, commencing August 1, 2009 and lasting until 31 July 2011.

We congratulate FS Trading Sdn Bhd and Raza Motors Sdn Bhd on this achievement and strongly urge those dealers who have not yet received this certification to use Kia’s Act Smart Campaign as a means of improving their competitiveness,” said SM Nasarudin SM Nasimuddin, Joint Group Executive Chairman of the Naza Group of Companies.

Since the launch of the Kia Dealer Excellence Programme (KDEP) in 2007, 16 dealers in the Asia-Pacific region have been awarded ‘Platinum’ status, with Malaysia leading thepack by way of six Naza Kia dealers having been awarded ‘Platinum Dealer’ status. Globally, there are a total of 141 dealers in 47 countries with ‘Platinum Dealer’ status.

Earlier this year, Kia Motors presented Naza Kia an award for Excellence in its Act Smart Campaign and the Outstanding Dealer Development award in recognition of outstanding performance in dealer competency development.

Earlier in May, Naza Kia was awarded the 2009 Asia & Pacific 'Outstanding Dealer Development Award' by Kia Motors Corporation (KMC). In order to qualify for the award, the KMC network team scrutinised every entry and rated its performance, supported by uploaded documents for every outlet, complete with photographic 'before and after' evidence.
