Juru, Penang, 12 August 2009 – Nasim Sdn Bhd (NSB), a member of the Naza Group of Companies and the official franchise holder of Peugeot Automobiles in Malaysia, today opened its first Peugeot sales, service and spare parts (3S) centre in the northern region. Strategically located in the well-established Juru Auto-City, the Peugeot 3S centre is wholly owned and independently managed by NSB for the convenience of Peugeot owners in Penang, Perlis and Kedah. NSB operates two other Peugeot 3S centres, one in Shah Alam, Selangor and another in Johor Bahru.
 
“We have seen NSB grow from strength to strength with the launch of new Peugeot models and the expansion of our dealer network. We currently have eight Peugeot authorised dealers, and nine branches nationwide. The increasing sales of Peugeot vehicles sees a greater need for 3S centres to provide quality service with specialised tools,” said Encik SM Nasarudin SM Nasimuddin, Joint Group Executive Chairman of the Naza Group of Companies.

NSB’s 2-storey, 8,000 sq ft Juru 3S centre is equipped with the Peugeot Planet System (PPS), technical diagnostic equipment, exclusive to Peugeot, and three services bays. With an initial staff strength of 21, the centre is expected to achieve an initial output of 12 cars per day.

SM Nasarudin said that all Peugeot 3S centres fully utilized Peugeot’s unique global concept to provide support to Peugeot owners. “We recognise that after sales service and customer satisfaction are critical success factors in the automobile business. Customers drive our business, and every effort will be made to ensure that our customers’ needs are met. We believe in continuous improvement and professionalism,” he said.

NSB is supported by the Automobiles Peugeot regional training centre and regional office which is based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. The Automobiles Peugeot regional training centre caters to Peugeot's regional markets in Australia, Brunei, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Nepal, New Zealand, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. It is equipped with the latest Automobiles Peugeot diagnostic tools as well as the latest Peugeot models which are brought in for training purposes.

In addition, the Peugeot Platform which is a global online helpdesk for Peugeot service technicians worldwide is also available to all authorised Peugeot service centres in Malaysia. With the technical support from Automobiles Peugeot, NSB believes that it is possible to enhance customer service as well as to provide prompt and reliable service to all Peugeot owners.

In line with its growth strategy, NSB began exporting Malaysian-assembled Peugeot models to neighbouring Thailand earlier this month. NSB will be opening its 1st Peugeot 3S centre in East Malaysia next month.
