Kuala Lumpur, 23 July 2009 – Perodua today unveiled the Viva Elite premium and sporty range of the Viva with enhanced features and contemporary design.

The new features available are the new frontal look and fog lamps, alloy rims, new seat fabric, chrome door handles, digital audio with MP3 and WMA capability as well as ultra violet protection glass.

The 1-litre Elite come in three variants – Elite (M/T), Elite (A/T) and the top of the line Elire EZi. The prices start at RM37,900 for the Elite (M/T), RM40,900 for the Elite (A/T) and RM44,900 for the EZi.

“The Viva Elite promises the best of both worlds as now you can have a car that is fuel efficient, affordable to maintain and yet delivers all the comforts that are a must in today’s urban lifestyle,” said Datuk Syed Abdull Hafiz Syed Abu Bakar, Managing Director, Perodua.

“We feel this model will be well received by young professionals/families and we aim to sell 2,600 units a month,” he added.

With the new variants, the Viva range will have a total of seven variants to suit the various lifestyles of Malaysians.
