Kuala Lumpur, 30 July 2009 – Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia launched today the new facelift Lancer 2.0 GT and enhanced Grandis 2.4 MPV. Both models come with sportier looks and more equipment to offer better value for customers.

The Lancer has a very well rounded set of capabilities that sets it apart from the competition. The Grandis meanwhile, shows that a spacious and versatile MPV can be fun to drive and sleek looking too,” said Keizo Ono, Chief Executive Officer, Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia.

“The launch of these two models plus the recent introduction of the Pajero Sport MPV underlines our commitment to provide reliable vehicles and driving enjoyment to Malaysians,” he added.

The Lancer is imported from Japan and is powered by a 2.0-litre 16-valve DOHC engine with MIVEC technology. It has a lightweight engine block that is capable of producing 155PS and 199Nm of torque. The price is RM124, 780.10 on-the-road with insurance for company registration.

For the Grandis, the engine the 2.4-litre MIVEC that can produce the maximum power of 165PS. This award winning model is priced at RM161.893.80 on-the-road without insurance and the colours offered are White Pearl, Black Mica, Coal Silver and Gray Mica.
