Shah Alam, 11 May 2009 - Euromobil Sdn Bhd today launched the Audi Q5 at an event was officiated by Datuk Haji Mohd Khamil Jamil, Group Managing Director, DRB Hicom Bhd.

The Q5 is touted as a SUV for the new generation as it combines the right new technologies and traditional qualities such as intelligence, comfort and power.

“You could call the new Audi Q5 and SUV but it does not look like an ordinary SUV, because it isn’t. Audi designers chose not to follow convention, enabling them to produce something rather special,” said Datuk Syed Hisham bin Syed Wazir, Chairman, Euromobil Sdn Bhd.

The new Q5 rankes as the top off-roader among the best new vehicle releases of 2009. The verdict came from more than 150 renowned independent motor journalists fro m Germany, Austria, Switzerland in the awards “TOP autos 2009”.

Its performance combines the dynamics of a sports sedan with the versatile interior – ideal for family and leisure and a winner in the off-road segment. With Quattro permanent all-wheel drive and agile suspension, the Q5 offers superior technology package on and off-road. 

The price tag is RM299,000 on-the-road without insurance with extensive warranties.
