Petaling Jaya, 27 April 2009 - Continental Sime Tyre (CST) received its third straight Outstanding Quality Performance Award from Toyota’s Assembly Services Sdn. Bhd. (ASSB). The award for 2008 was presented at the 14th Toyota Suppliers’ Conference held recently.

The award was presented for tyres supplied by CST’s Alor Star plant for two Toyota models, the Innova and Hilux Single Cab.

Thomas Falke, Director of OE – ASEAN & China, Continental Sime Tyre PJ Sdn. Bhd. was present to receive the award on behalf of CST from Hideki Omae, Plant Director of Toyota ASSB.

It also sends a clear signal to our customer base that we continue to strive to exceed world-class quality expectations in this region," comments Falke.
