Petaling Jaya, 16 February 2009 - Continental Sime Tyre rolled out two tyre models of its Dunlop 4x4 range for 4WD vehicles in its product range for SUVs, pick-ups and crossover SUVs for Malaysia.

MaxGrip AT2
The MaxGrip AT2 is developed for all drivers who intend to use their 4WD vehicles off-road but still want a comfortable margin of safety in road traffic.

It has aggressive five-row tread pattern block for better gripping, biting as well as having self-cleaning tread lugs for commanding performance both on and off the road. The tread blocks in offset arrangement generate extremely little rolling noise.

The traction ridges are found at the base of every groove to give added traction to pull a driver out of any muddy situation. The tyre guarantees prompt steering response and a high degree of directional stability.

Thanks to the advance cut and chip resistant tread compound, off-road driving is unlikely to result in damage and notching and the tyre can be expected to give good mileage. The MaxGrip AT2 tyres are available with white sidewall lettering.
 
Road Trekker 2

The said two tyres are currently produced at CST plant in Alor Star, Kedah.
