MHF gets 3 cars from Hyundai

Kuala Lumpur, 22 January 2009 - Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors Sdn Bhd (HSDM) today presented three cars to the Malaysian Hockey Federation (MHF) to help boost the performance of the game in the country

The three Hyundai cars - i10, Getz 1.4 and Matrix 1.6 will be used by MHF to transport coaches, officials and staff, to conduct intensive coaching programmes aimed at improving the standard of hockey, especially in West Malaysia.

The all-new and latest i10 is an ideal urban car which allows easy motoring in tight traffic condition. The larger European inspired Getz 1.4 meanwhile is fit for travel in bigger groups and longer distance. The evergreen Pininfarina-designed Matrix 1.6 remains a very popular car for all-purpose motoring use.

“The vehicles that we are providing are ideal for the use of MHF.  We are pleased to be able to contribute towards promoting hockey in the country,” said Dennis Ho, Managing Director of HSDM at the key handover ceremony.  HSDM is the prime mover and sole importer of Hyundai and Inokom vehicles in Malaysia.
