Kuala Lumpur, 30 December 2008 - Subaru fans and motoring aficionados can now look forward to owning a Subaru Impreza WRX STi 2.5 at a reduced price, effective immediately. Motor Image Sdn. Bhd., sole distributors of Subaru in Malaysia, has decided to adjust its prices on the STi by about 13% to RM 258,475.20 (on the road) for private registration and RM 260,328.10 (on the road) for company registration.

The latest addition to the Impreza series, the highest standard addition of the Subaru stalwart, is a five-door hatchback model, similar to its third-generation Impreza counterparts. The model made its debut on Malaysian shores in early November 2008 and has since received popular reviews by fans and critics alike.

“The latest adjustment in price reflects our continuous efforts to give our cars the most value for money for our customers. It is our practice to regularly review our prices to remain competitive in the automotive market, and provide the best value, especially in light of the current worldwide economic situation”, said Glenn Tan, Group Chief Executive of Motor Image Group.

The Impreza WRX STi 2.5 is available in four colours: Pure White, Spark Silver Metallic, Dark Grey Metallic, and the Subaru trademark colour, WR Blue Mica.
