Kuala Lumpur, 15 December 2008 – Peugeot proudly bagged three awards in three different categories at the recent Asian Auto-Bosch Fuel Efficiency Award 2008, organized by Asian Auto Publications in conjunction with Bosch Malaysia. The event took place at the Saujana Hotel, Kuala Lumpur on 5th December 2008.

Nasim Sdn Bhd had 3 winners in different categories. The new Peugeot 207CC with its efficient VTi engine took top spot in the Super Coupes category. It is currently Malaysia’s affordable coupe cabriolet with a folding metal roof at RM158,888 OTR. It is also now Malaysia’s most economical Super Coupe with a fuel consumption of 7.2litres/100km.

The Peugeot 308GT (THP) took 2nd place in the Performance Car category with 175bhp of power and 240Nm of torque available on tap, through its performance driven turbo charged engine, it offers a fine balance between performance and economy for the enthusiastic driver. The 6-speed manual gearbox adds to its economical nature. The Peugeot 308GT (THP) has a combined fuel consumption of 7.6litres/100km.

The third winner was the Naza 206 which took 2nd spot in the Compact Premium City Cars category at 5.9litres/100km. it was indeed a pleasant surprise for Nasim which is now having a special loan package for the Naza 206. Lionel P. Jayasinghe, Senior Sales Manager for Nasim said during the event, that the award attests to the economical nature of the car.  He adds, “This is the best time to get this fuel efficient car.
