Petaling Jaya, 30 November 2008 - Kelab Sukan and Sosial Orinetal held their annual dinner at a new 5-star hotel today. It was officiated by Dato’ Robert Wong, Managing Director/CEO Oriental Hyundai Sdn Bhd in the presence of C.J. Park, Deputy General Manager, Hyundai Motor Company’s Asia & Pacific Regional HQ, suppliers, business associates and staff.

“I am pleased to announce that Hyundai-Kia is being elevated to the world’s fifth largest car maker in the world behind Toyota, GM, Ford and Audi-VW,” said Dato’ Robert.

“We have experienced the recessions in 1977, 1987 and 1997 to emerge not only stronger but also bigger with diversified business to foresee another year of sustainable growth next year,” he added.

The event included a 25-years service and cake cutting ceremony, long service award, suppliers’ awards, guests lucky draw and the grand lucky draw in which the winner walked away with a new Honda Wave S 125. All the guests were also treated to great entertainment by a belly dancing troupe.
