Kuala Lumpur, 25 November 2008 - Volvo Car Malaysia (VCM) is giving away great incentives to all Volvo car owners including free checks, promotions and discounts, plus chances to win great prizes - just by sending their cars in for a service and/or repairs.

From 1st December 2008 to 31st January 2009, Volvo car owners need only to bring in their cars for service and/or repairs at any Volvo authorized service centre to enjoy all these great benefits.

Robert Norrman, President of Volvo Car Malaysia said that it is Volvo’s philosophy to be always committed to safety. “We believe that Volvo cars - regardless of their age or current condition, should be in their best possible condition, for the safety of Volvo drivers and their passengers,” he said.

Which is why, Norrman said he is encouraging Volvo owners to take advantage of this opportunity to check on the fitness of their cars.

“The year-end and holiday period is when Malaysians do a lot of traveling on the road. One precaution to take is to ensure your car is in roadworthy condition – so please go ahead and take advantage of our great incentives to get your Volvo checked,” he said. 

He said this year-end offer is a sincere gesture of goodwill to all Volvo owners for the end-of-the-year festive and holiday period.

“In the spirit of the season, we would like to extend a warm cheer to all Volvo owners. This is our gesture of appreciation to all owners of Volvo cars.”

On the up to a 20% discount on selected parts, Norrman said the offer is limited to selected Volvo models, valid during the campaign period.

In addition, Volvo owners would get an attractive gift for tyre purchases during this campaign period.

“And to stand a chance to win the grand prize or the other prizes, Volvo owners upon servicing and/or repairing their car, need only to submit their original invoices with the entry forms by answering 3 simple questions and completing a slogan,” Norrman added.

To be clear on the offers and promotions, Norrman urged all Volvo owners to check with the respective authorized service centre managers on all the promotions and discounts offered or visit the Volvo website at www.volvocars.com.my.

Norrman also encouraged Volvo owners to make reservations as high traffic is expected during the campaign period. The workshops are open Mondays to Fridays 8.30am to 5.30pm and Saturdays from 8.30am to 12.30pm. The service centres are closed on Sunday.
