Petaling Jaya, 24 October 2008 - Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia opened two new Mitsubishi Motors dealerships recently a new showroom each in Seremban and Kuantan.
 
The Premium Century Mitsubishi Motors Seremban showroom is located at 387, Jalan Tuanku Antah, 70100 Seremban with a service centre located at 20, Jalan Andalas 2, Kawasan Perindustrian Ringan, Andalas Batu 4, Jalan Tampin, 70450 Seremban.
 
Whereas, the Sendang Motor Mitsubishi Motors 3S Centre in Kuantan is situated at A100, Jalan Beserah, 25300 Kuantan, Pahang. Aimed at enhancing customer convenience, this new Mitsubishi Motors 3S Centre houses the showroom, sales office, service workshop and a spare parts centre. 
 
“The launch of these two new Mitsubishi Motors showroom in Seremban and Kuantan reflects our strategy to expand the Mitsubishi Motors network to serve our customers better. Our priority is to ensure quality service and positive brand experience for all Mitsubishi Motors customers and, ultimately, to further establish our market presence in these regions,” said Keizo Ono , Chief Executive Officer.
 
Despite the tough challenges facing the automotive industry this year, Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia achieved an increase of 65.2 per cent with 4, 881 units sold in the first eight months of 2008 against 2,955 units in the corresponding period last year.
 
The Triton pick-up truck sales volume achieved yet another remarkable growth with 3,209 units sold up to August this year, an increase of 33.7 per cent from the same period last year, making Mitsubishi Motors' pickup truck the second most popular pick-up truck in the country with a 19 per cent share in the segment.
 
The Mitsubishi Motors models being introduced at the showrooms are the Lancer sedan, Grandis MPV, Lancer Evolution high performance sedan and the Triton pick-up truck. The passenger cars are fully imported from Japan while the Triton comes from Thailand.
