Kuala Lumpur, 22 August 2008 - Perodua today launched the facelift Myvi at a media preview. The event was officiated by Datuk Syed Abdull Hafiz bin Syed Abu Bakar, Managing Director, Perodua.

The Myvi has been given a fresh exterior look with newly designed fog lamps, front grille, hood and emblem. In the interior, there is a new fabric for the seats, trimmed centre console cluster, meter combi and lower belt line colour. In terms of comfort, the new UV protection glass makes the cabin more comfortable.

“The Myvi has become a household name as it was introduced at a time when customers were searching for a car which is spacious, stylish, economical and most importantly, with a technology that enables them to lead a quality lifestyle. We refreshed the Myvi for an even more sophisticated and sporty look to suit today’s environment,” said Datuk Syed Hafiz.

“We have made every effort to maintain the price and there will be a Special Edition which will be launched later this year,” added Datuk Syed Hafiz.

Other new features include shopping hook, seat height adjuster, MP3/WMA, USB port and Bluetooth.

The price range is from RM39,000 – RM51,000 on-the-road and the colours available are Ivory White, Ebony Black, Glittering Silver, Mistik Red, Klasik Gold, Peral White, Medallion Grey and Caribbean Blue.
