Petaling Jaya, 24 July 2008 – Suzuki Malaysia Automobiles Sdn Bhd today introduced the fully imported SX4 Sedan 1.6L (A) at a leading shopping centre.

“In 2007, we sold more than 2,500 units to register an increase of more than 60% in total sales compared to the previous year,” said Ibrahim Maidin, Managing Director, Suzuki Malaysia Automobiles Sdn Bhd. 

The SX4 Sedan combines the luxury and efficiency in an upright design to offer generous amenities of a multi-purpose vehicle. This result in a new level of cabin comfort packaged with an efficient exterior. It has the DNA of the SX Crossover hatchback with roomy interior and responsive feel that is apt both on the highway and city driving.

The engine is the 1.6-litre 16-valve DOHC VVT that is rated to produce the maximum power of 101hp at 5600 rpm and the maximum torque of 140Nm at 4000 rpm. For the transmission, it is the 4-speed auto that is tuned to for brisk acceleration with selected gear ratios.

A number of safety features are available like the ABS with EBD, SRS airbags, rigid safety space in the cabin and the ISOFIX-compliant child seat.

The SX4 Sedan 1.6L (A) is priced at RM88,888 while the 1.6L (A) Premier is 93,888 on-the-road without insurance in Peninsular Malaysia for private registration. The colour choices are Silky Silver, Azure Grey and Black Pearl.
