Golf Clinic for junior golfers
Led by these three professional players, the Mercedes-Benz Golf Clinic expedited learning of specific skills needed to reduce handicaps and master the game. These professional golfers gave insights on various topics including the common faults, strategy, and using the appropriate equipment, and offered tips on a combination of swing refinements and thought pattern corrections. “The Golf Clinic was interesting and beneficial. Thanks to the extensive experience and educational background of the professional golfers who have successfully communicated and reinforced the skills needed with each golfer’s game, hence exposing our junior golfers with another positive golf learning experience,” said Teng Mui Ngee from SportExcel. “We are pleased with the success of the Mercedes-Benz Golf Clinic and the Mercedes-Benz Masters Malaysia 2008 on the whole. It has been an exciting competition and we are glad to see Malaysia’s 22-year-old Ben Leong claimed his first title as a professional when he triumphed in the Mercedes-Benz Masters Malaysia. We look forward to continuously support golf and also provide a platform to develop the future generation of golf players,” said Florian Mueller, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Mercedes-Benz Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. Held under the Mercedes-Benz Tour 2008 umbrella, the Mercedes-Benz Masters Malaysia 2008 is an extension of Mercedes-Benz’s involvement in South East Asian golf. Apart from title-sponsoring the Mercedes-Benz Tour, the Mercedes-Benz brand is carried on six of the 10 events under the Tour, a reflection of its widespread support and commitment to the game.
