Shah Alam, 26 June 2008 – Euromobil Sdn Bhd today launched the new Audi A4 1.8T and the event was officiated by the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, Datuk Sri Mohd Najib bin Tun Abdul Razak at the Audi Hangar, in the presence of Datuk Haji Mohd Khamil Jamil, Group Managing Director, Drb-Hicom Berhad, Haji Mohd Redza Shah Abdul Wahid, Group COO, Drb-Hicom Berhad/Director of EON Berhad and other invited guests.

“The all-new A4 promises a more dynamic driving experience with a completely revised chassis and suspension,” said Datuk Syed Hisham Syed Wazir, Chairman, Euromobil Sdn Bhd.

“This 8th generation A4 codenamed “B8” has larger dimensions for the occupants to enjoy more space inside the cabin,” he added.

This A4 combines a number of aspects in design, taut and dynamic with high precision. The designers have altered the proportions to create a new, sporty impression. The front overhang is shorter, the bonnet and wheelbase larger. It has a drag coefficient of 0.27 with a body that is more rigid but lighter due to intelligent weight saving.

The four-cylinder engine uses direct fuel injection FSI technology to produce the maximum power of 160 bhp. Compared to the previous model, its fuel consumption is lower by 13%.

The estimated selling price is RM235,000 for the Standard variant and RM260,000 for the S-Line.
