Nasim's new Peugeot Blue Box

Kuala Lumpur, 15 February 2008 - With the announcement of the franchise takeover on 2 January 2008, Nasim Sdn Bhd (NSB), the official importer and distributor of Peugeot Automobiles in Malaysia makes good it's promise to open it's new Peugeot Blue Box in Glenmarie, Shah Alam. The event was graced by Dato?? Seri Rafidah Aziz, Minister of International Trade and Industry, Malaysia and Francois Poirier, Director, Asia Pacific Africa, International Operations Division of Automobile Peugoet.

Located at Lot B, No 2 & 4, Jalan Pengaturcara, U1/51, Seksyen U1, Temasya Industrial Park, 40150 Shah Alam. This new centre of some 20,000 sq.ft was fully renovated at a total cost of more than RM2 million. This new facility for Peugeot owners offers the best after sales and maintenance for all models. The centre has 11 service bays out of which, four are fast service bays. 11 highly trained technicians will attend to the needs of Peugeot owners at all times. NSB also assures all Peugeot owners of availability of spare parts. This can be seen in its RM 3 million worth of spare parts which are homed in its main parts warehouse. The centre is equipped with the latest state-of-the-art Peugeot Planet System (PPS) diagnostic equipment which comes with internet feed to a 24-hour call center that is able to 'communicate' with Peugeot vehicles when plugged in to analyze and look into problems that may occur.

SM Nasaruddin Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin SM Amin representing Tan Sri in his speech reiterated his commitment to providing the best for the Peugeot brand and assures all present and future Peugeot owners that they would have uninterrupted supply of spare parts at very reasonable prices. To start of NSB is announcing that parts prices are reduced by up to 20%. Further to the opening of the Peugeot Blue Box, Genmarie, NSB confirms that there are already 21 service centres nationwide that are able to handle the 206 Bestari and out of which, 12 are fully equipped to handle the full range of Peugeot vehicles.

"We are forecasting to sell 3,000 units this year," he added.

Apart from the opening of the centre, NSB showcased 3 special Peugeot models. The motorsport oriented Spider 207, the classy 207 Coupe Cabriolet and the 308 which will soon make its appearance into the Malaysian market.
Also displayed at the launch was the new 2008 edition of the Naza 206 Bestari. A popular seller, the 206 Bestari had been freshened up with enhancements to the exterior and also new rear head restraints. All these add up to a refreshing new look for the popular B segment hatchback. The best news is that there is no price increase for the enhancements. At the same time, NSB also announced that they will start collecting bookings for the new 407 from March 15. According to NSB, the new CKD 407 will retail at a very attractive price. NSB will progressively bring in other CKD and CBU Peugeot models to cater to the different segments of the Malaysian market.
